Health Practices for Covid-19

Steps for Public Safety

We at Earley Wellness Group are taking a number of responsible steps to limit everyone’s exposure to the inevitable spread of COVID-19.

Sanitizing - We have stepped up our normal cleaning procedures, disinfecting office surfaces throughout the day, particularly areas where there is frequent hand contact.

Hand washing - We are constantly washing our hands, and we ask you to wash yours as you enter and exit the office. We will have hand sanitizer available for everyone’s use.

Exposure - If you are having symptoms like fever, chills, body aches, cough, vomiting or diarrhea, please reschedule any appointment you have with us.

Clothing & linens - We are no longer using sheets. Please wear comfortable clothes like sweat pants, shorts, button shirts, and other loose-fitting shirts so you will be comfortable on the table. If you tend to use a blanket during treatment, you can bring a clean blanket from home.

Proactive health practices to strengthen immunity

Get plenty of sleep

  • We repair and restore during sleep. If you have problems with insomnia, we can help with acupuncture, or you can try relaxing music or meditation apps, essential oils or biofeedback.

Eat well

  • This means real food and lots of vegetables, especially green leafy ones. Make sure you eat a variety of foods and don't skip meals. Reduce sugars and other processed foods as much as possible; they break down our immune system.

  • Fresh ginger tea in the morning can strengthen your digestive system and boost immunity. You can also cook with garlic, ginger, cloves, turmeric, cardamom, and cinnamon. Elderberry syrup is a healthful way to boost immunity.

Reduce stress and get regular acupuncture and/or bodywork

  • Help your body stay in balance with regular attention. Mindfulness practices, time in nature and regular acupuncture have been shown to regulate the immune system and promote overall health.
